Schindler House: Web Site & Product Line Promotion

Our first introduction of the new concept was at the Los Angeles Modernism Show in May benefiting CalArts Community Arts Partnership. Featuring over 65 exhibitors of 20th Century art and furniture from across the U.S. and Europe, the show also celebrates over 20 years of providing arts education to LA-area youth.

We created a promotional card that would be distributed at the show that features abstractions of the Schindler House's key materials and textures: raw concrete, natural California redwood, and the ubiquitous bamboo that envelopes the property—illuminated by the narrow slits of light that penetrate the structure.

Schindler House: Brand Identity

The card was created to be eye-catching and to stand-out from the plethora of graphic materials distributed at trade shows, by being both reflective of the 1920s, when the house was built, and the 21st Century today.

We featured the new site's URL prominently and the boost in traffic was significant. The new site is brought to you by Friends of the Schindler House (FOSH), dedicated to the dwelling's preservation.
