		The Painting Center Jamaica Oman Exhibition Subsite & Promotion
	Web & Promotion Design	Design Latitudes pitched The Painting Center with our idea to exhibit a group of Jamaican painters within the internationalized Jamaican visual arts community.

Works in the exhibition, Jamaica Oman (Patois for "Woman") visually explore gender issues raised in a poem of that title by Jamaican writer and poet, Louise Bennett. In addition to a temporary promotional makeover of the existing site, our solution incorporated a graphic play on the missing "W", as well as a reflection on the nature of the Jamaican bush country with a painterly brushstroke. Jamaica Oman was co-produced and promoted by Marjorie Carmelia, Marketing Director for Design Latitudes.
