Vivian Horan Fine Art: Exposed Promotion

We showcased a rare untitled piece by Sigmar Polke, from 1975, who experimented with chemical developers and fixers, incorporating mistakes and elements of chance into his finished work.

The image was featured on the Art Forum advertisement as well as being wrapped around the announcement card with the signature-style typography superimposed and a gradient title that suggested exposure and development.

Polke's irreverence for traditional painting techniques and materials and his lack of allegiance to any one mode of representation has established his now-respected reputation as a visual revolutionary.
